Currently I offer a number of 50 minute talks delivered either via Zoom, or live. The talks cover areas of research that interest me. I live in the heart of the rolling Chiltern Hills and developed one of the talks, Art & Design in the Chilterns, as my homage to this beautiful part of the country. Cornwall has the Newlyn School and the St Ives School; Norfolk the Norwich School; Sussex has its own group of artists – my intention is to show that the Chilterns too has inspired some of the most important artists and craftsmen of the inter-war years. These include John and Paul Nash, Clare Leighton, Eric Gill, Eric Fitch Daglish, Agnes Miller Parker, Stanley Anderson, John Piper.
